Therapeutic Art 101

Therapeutic Art Program

$15.00

Join our month-long therapeutic art program to learn how art rewires the brain and affects us from our heads to our toes, inside and out, from a scientific and biblical perspective. This course is designed to support holistic healing in every aspect of your well-being—physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Over the course of a month, you will engage in enriching daily art prompts. We will be doing activities that include painting, therapeutic journaling, drawing, making collages, creative storytelling, and more. I use a donation-based system to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to get the help they need. Please see below for more info about the donation-based system.

*After purchase, you'll receive the course access login information by email.

In this program, you will be learning how to rewire your brain through neuroplasticity, improve stress resilience, work through hurts throughout your life, challenge perspectives in yourself and in life situations, learn to find beauty even when you are in the darkest of storms, and find more shalom/peace and joy. This program has 30 prompts to help you create new habits that will bring more shalom into your life. You do not have to finish each prompt per day. You can do these prompts at your own pace.  Doing Neuro Art for at least 20 minutes daily will have huge benefits, so aim for at least 20-30 minutes a day if you can.

Neuro Art is for everyone. You do NOT have to be a talented artist to do this program. The lessons will not be teaching art techniques but instead are focused on a freer personal form that people of nearly all ages and skill levels can accomplish and benefit from. The goal is not how pretty the finished artwork is, but how free you become during the process. This program can be done with the whole family. Most ages will enjoy participating in the daily prompts, though the science and more technical information presented might go over the heads of the little ones. But hopefully, they will walk away with the moral of the course, that Yahweh created us to create, and in doing so, we are helping our whole being to feel better.

During this program, we will be making new habits that promote growth and transformation, like the habits of taking every thought captive to make it obedient to the Messiah, of mindfulness and being present, of taking a rest each day for our well-being, and of questioning ourselves to become more self-aware of our thoughts, emotions, and actions.

The creative art mediums are designed to be accommodating so that you don't have to go out and spend hundreds of dollars on supplies. Most likely, you have the materials you need already, or you can take a trip to the dollar store. You don't need anything special. Materials that are recommended are watercolor paint, an assortment of coloring/writing utensils from markers to pencils to pens to colored pencils to crayons, paper (mixed media would be best), acrylic paint (optional), glue (craft, Elmers, and hot glue all would be helpful, but are optional), construction paper, writing paper/journal, and something to listen to Youtube on. Fabric and yarns would be fun, but are optional. I offer alternatives to the activities so you do not have to have all of these materials.

To ensure that your artistic exploration continues long after the program concludes, you will also have direct access to me and to other students for guidance and encouragement throughout the journey through the members-only Facebook group. This will help to nurture your creativity, connect with others, and continue on a transformative path toward healing through art. Embrace this chance to foster a deeper connection with yourself and others as you explore the therapeutic potential of creativity and rewiring your brain.

Donation-based program:

This program is donation-based, a “pay-what-feels-right” donation system. Meaning pray and donate what feels right for the value you perceived/received, and for your financial situation. If you truly can’t afford any donation, but this would be very valuable to your well-being and something you really want to do, reach out, and we can look into a scholarship for you.

There are different donation amount options available, so that you can donate what you can afford and feel the course is worth. A special thanks to those who are generous and able to donate higher amounts. This makes it possible for me to offer this program and my coaching services to those who can only donate smaller amounts or are not able to donate at all. May Yahweh bless you a thousand times over. "May Yahweh repay you for what you have done, may you receive a full reward from Yahweh the Elohim of Yisra'el under whose wings you have come to take refuge." Ruth 2:12

I know how it feels to be struggling and really needing someone's expertise, but unable to afford their services. I wanted to make it so that if anyone needed my help but couldn't afford expensive coaching and programs, they could still get the help they needed. So, if you are in need, don't feel bad or hesitate to reach out. I have reached out many times myself, so no judgments.
